Pet care experience
Boarding Note: Our current Boarding prices are in effect between now and Memorial Day weekend. During the summer (Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend), our prices increase by $10 per night. Please keep this in mind if you are booking for stays between these dates. Doggy Daycare Note: Yes! We have lots of dogs for playing and Mom is at home to give lots of outdoor potty breaks. We own 4 dogs, but there will likely only be two around all day to play with. One of our dogs goes to work with Daddy and another dog has just had a litter of puppies and is in seclusion most of the time. So, your pup will have dogs to play with, but not TOO many. :) We love nurses and other owners who work 12 hour shifts! We - and our dogs! - are excited to welcome your dog(s) into our home for playing and boarding! We welcome your dog into our home and routine, and they have a home to stay in with a family and dog friends instead of a sterile kennel environment. Oh, and we LOVE dogs! Your dog(s) will be loved like our own.
Reviews
They were great! Communicative and flexible, very kind. And my dogs seemed very happy when they came home :)
It appeared from the photos that Asher had a good time staying with Michael and Robin. We appreciate that they were willing to watch her over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Michael and Robin were great!
They took amazing care of our dogs!!

My husband and I grew up with both dogs and cats and have had them ever since. We have our own pack of dogs - 2 tiny ones and 1 medium-large. Our tiny dogs can hold their own, so don’t let that worry you if you have a larger dog - they are “big” dogs in tiny bodies, lol. All of our dogs are crate-trained and typically sleep together at night in one large crate.

Information Robin & Michael A. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, we need to know: - That your dog is spayed/neutered and crate-trained at night (required for booking) - Any special care requirements to ensure we can accommodate them - Any behavior issues we need to be aware of (barking, digging, chewing, incontinence, potty accidents, aggression, etc.) and what remedies you can send with your dog (kongs or bones for chewing, diapers, belly bands, puppy pads, etc.) Before boarding begins, we need to know: - ANY ALLERGIES - Feeding instructions (at or before drop-off) - Any food/treat limitations? - If you typically walk your dog for potty breaks (i.e. - you live in an apartment/townhome) since they may have a learning curve to know to potty in the backyard. - Does your dog respond to any training commands, such as “come” and “leave it”? We are happy to continue using your commands with your dog(s)! - Anything YOU think is important for us to know about your babies! Feel free to share your ideal petsitting scenario so we can work to meet your expectations! Let us know if you have special requests that aren’t covered in the Rover price list.
A typical day
A typical day at our house starts with my husband taking the dogs out to go potty at 5 AM. Our oldest Yorkie goes to work with Daddy, leaving our two girls at home. Then breakfast and hanging out or crated until I come down for the day around 8:00. I will take the dogs out again. The dogs then play with each other and nap for a couple of hours until I take them out again. We repeat this cycle every 2-3 hours during my workday. I often leave our backyard door open so dogs can go in and out freely. They will get tons of playtime with our dogs if they enjoy playing. We also have quiet areas where dogs can hang out if they need peace and quiet, including in my office with me. My son and husband are both home by 4:00 and then family time starts. My husband and I take the dogs out to play and visit with neighbors through the fence. Then we make dinner for us and the dogs, lol. We have lots of areas for separate feeding of our guests. My husband and I hang out with the dogs until my husband and son go to bed around 9:00, taking them outside every 2-3 hours. The dogs will get lots of attention and love, and we love lap dogs.

IMPORTANT: We DO NOT accept intact (not neutered or spayed) dogs because we have a breeding pair. We typically only accept dogs that are crate-trained overnight - exceptions on a case-by-case basis, for example for an elderly dog. This is for the safety of all of the dogs in our care when the humans cannot supervise. You can bring your own crate or we can provide one. Our profile says this, but if you don’t fill out your profile completely, Rover will match you to sitters who may not accept your pets. We apologize for the inconvenience. 😞
