Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs, cats and pets my entire life. At one point, we had 7 dogs at home, so I've learned how train and walk many dogs! I got my own dog 6 years ago, Pippin- a Jack-Russel cross - a high energy dog, which has solidified my training ability. Over the years, I've taken care of friends dogs - from Frank the Puggle to Ziba the Mastif, and Speedy the Wolfdog. My friends all trust my dog care skills, and will often come to me first when they need someone to take care of their pet. My free time entails exploring all the best hiking trails in Victoria, so why not have your pup join me one of these adventures? They'll definitely come home happy, tired and will sleep very well! I look forward to meeting your pooch!

We were so lucky to find Robin! She looked after our English Bulldog for almost a week. I was nervous to leave him with anyone but she made me so comfortable. Robin took great care of Duke. Lots of walks, playtime, downtime when needed (he’s 15 months), snuggles and had no problem with the extra feeding instructions. Robin kept us updated with lots of pictures during Dukes stay with her which was amazing! She also was vigilant in noticing changes or concerns she may have had with him as she would with her very own dog. We and Duke recommend Robin 1000%. P.s. Robin lives in a wonderful area to have a dog!
ROBIN IS A GODSEND! I recently moved to Victoria and my dog has had a hard time adjusting and has been experiencing some separation anxiety when I’m away at work. My original dog sitter plans fell through and luckily enough Robin was kind enough to take my dog for 2 nights on such short notice! I instantly felt comfortable with Robin and so did my dog. She has a genuine love for animals and it really shows. She was extremely attentive and wanted to know as much about my fur baby as possible before hand ( eating habits, temperament, toileting, etc) and moved her day around to accommodate a meet and greet before hand even on short notice.Robin is professional and an expert on animal care & obedience! She has a sweet doggy of her own and treated mine with the same love, care and attention. They went on fun walks and got exciting treats. I was sent text and photo updates throughout the night, which really put my mind at ease.On the first night, we got hit with lots of snow and because I got snowed in at work and couldn’t leave, Robin was kind enough to keep my dog much longer than agreed on and was very easy going about it. The second night, my dog was wagging her tail and pulling me to Robins front door! She really was amazing and helped both my dog and my anxiety with this move/ transition. I will definitely be using her services again and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!!!
Robin has taken care of my dogs on many occasions over the past 12 years and they were in the best hands. She has been a great help over the years from hikes when I am just not able to take my dogs on a walk, pet sitting, getting them to the vet when needed, and everything in between!

If you choose to book with me, you can be assured that I will take care of your dog, how I take care of my own - like family. If i'm taking your dog for a walk, I make sure to bring water (for everyone), and treats (if you want-for longer treks). I try to go somewhere adventurous - from Jocelyn hill to mount work. This gives everyone a good workout, so hopefully your dog loves lots of exercise! If your dog wants a slower paced walk, we can walk in the neighbourhood. A walk is a walk, right? If I'm doing in-home dog care. I will make sure to follow your instructions carefully - from walks to their feeding schedule to anything else that they require. Plus, trick time, back rubs, outside walks/hikes etc. The safety and well-being of your pet are my top priority. I look forward to having your dog join me on our adventures!

I would also like to know how your dog is with other dogs and strange people. Please give me any important medical information or allergies that I should know. Also, please let me know any important commands .
A typical day
If you chose me to take your dog for a hike, I'll find a hiking area that is near where you live, but hopefully also new to everyone. From the sooke wildreness to gowland todd to Thetis lake and everywhere in between. I can't give away all our best spots, but your dog will totally be excited for their next hike with Pippin and I.

Availability
I currently work full time, so am available after work on weekdays and on weekends. Why not bring your dog too, since I'm already hiking! My dog Pippin always gets a walk or a long hike after I finish my day at work, so bringing along your dog, will just add to our adventure! We always love company. :)
