I lost my own dog, Maika, this September. She was 14 years old but it was way too early. I used to watch dogs through DoggyVacay but got busy with life, travel, and only now ready to resume. I live in a country cabin, built in 1904 and one of Afton's original homes. It is nestled in the trees, facing the bluffs, and along a small spring-fed creek. This house is loaded with charm....park your car and cross a small footbridge to reach the cabin with wood floors, small rooms but ample space for relaxing and entertaining. Nice woodsy yard. Dogs love it!. The dogs hang with me and I usually leave the door open to the back yard/driveway as well.

Robin was wonderful with our Luna. She has a great place that Luna loved exploring and sent us sweet pics of her playing. I'd recommend Robin and world use her again.
It was great knowing my dog was being cared for like a member of their family! Robin was excellent at communicating and made effort to send me regular updates, pictures, and videos. My dog really enjoyed the open property to run and play in!
Amazing as always! I first met Erin and her crew four (or maybe more) years ago! I'm in the process of nailing down details for this winter trips and I found myself looking at some of our original correspondences.... very last minute, I had to switch my dates around to cancel a vacation and attend an out-of-town funeral. They made this stressful situation so smooth that I had totally forgotten the process of scrambling to switch all of this around. They have always been unbelievably accommodating, personable, and easy-going! They truly hold a special place in my heart. :)
Erin and her family have been so great to our dogs, Darla and Skye. Our dogs have stayed with them many times and we can tell they love it! They know where we are when we drive up their driveway and they get so excited! Erin sends many pics, videos and updates letting us know how things are going. We hate leaving our dogs behind, but this family is truly the best and we feel so comfortable knowing our pups are in a great home!

Sleeping, playing, running and just hanging out. It depends on the dog :) just let me know and I’ll try to accommodate, my sister often has dogs too and so we also can play there .. she has adjoining property — 15 acres

I''m a writer and work from home, so having a pup or two around is a real pleasure. Ii can take the dogs on runs, if they are active or to nearby Afton State park for long walks.
