Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Robin and I am a student currently living in Minneapolis. This is my fourth year, but I will be graduating a semester late in December. I have been around dogs my entire life; everything from golden retrievers to chihuahuas. As a former pup mama myself, I understand how tough it is to leave your family in the hands of a stranger. I promise to love and care for your little (or big) one while you're away as if they were my own to ease the pain of being away for both you and your dog. I've recently moved back to the Twin Cities after living back home on Long Island, NY for the winter, so I am familiar with caring for dogs in various living situations, environments, etc. Thank you for your time!

Robin was easy to work with and had a warm personality that made me feel better about leaving my cat for over a week. She send updates and pictures with each visit and was very responsive. Would happily rebook in the future.
Robin was awesome! She was very communicative and took great care of the dogs. One of our dogs who is afraid of going outside during fireworks season even went for walks with her. I would definitely use her again.
Robin was wonderful! My dog, Chewie, loved her right away, and I felt comfortable knowing he did not have to leave his own environment. I will definitely request her first next time I need someone to stay with Chewie.
Robin was amazing. We were absolutely thrilled with all aspects of her care for our two dogs while we were away for five days on vacation. She was easy to reach and quick to respond before and during our trip, kept us up to date with photos and messages throughout the stay, and paid careful attention to our requests around feeding, walking, playing, and etc. We returned from our trip tired to find our fur babies safe, healthy, and happy and the house neat and orderly, which made our re-entry just that much easier. Even though Robin was more familiar with smaller dogs, she managed our two bigger (50-60 lb) dogs very well. She went above and beyond, and we will book her again every time she's available. We can't thank her enough for taking such good care of our boys and our home.

I have little experience being around dogs with aggressive tendencies. While I have no preferences for sizes or breeds, I do have more experience with smaller dogs than larger dogs. I will admit, however, that I have been known to distract myself from time to time watching an abundance of pug videos... :)
A typical day
According to what needs your dog may have, I will always adjust to make them the most comfortable. If your dog is one that does not prefer constant attention, it will not receive it; however, if your dog is playful and full of energy, I will help them express that joyfulness of theirs! I will continue your dog's schedule as if you had never left (which, I'm sure will be be hard for your little family member). My reasoning for having this job is simply to satisfy my love for animals and craving to spend time with them. Because of this, there will be nothing that I choose to do with them/for them that would not be okay with their owners.
