Pet care experience
UPDATED JUNE 1, 2021 COVID-19: I AM AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT YOUR PET SERVICES NEEDS AND I AM FULLY VACCINATED. IF YOU ARE IN THE MEDICAL SECTOR, I AM PROVIDING MORE FLEXIBILITY, AS NEEDED. I am continuing to practice safe distancing, sanitary safety measures (mask, gloves), and alternative pet hand-off measures (front door, no home entry). Please do not hesitate to contact me so that together we can craft a process to meet your needs during this time. I look forward to hearing from you. Robin June 1, 2021 =================================================================== Good Day to You! My name is Robin and I am available to help you with your pet care, house-sitting, and dog walking needs. I would be delighted to meet with you and your pet(s) to hear your wants, and for us to find a way that I can support you to ensure your pets are nurtured, happy, and healthy. I have an abundance of love and patience to provide to your furry family member and will do so with pleasure. I can also work with you on basic puppy training through a regular drop-in visit. I have owned, raised, and trained cats, dogs, birds, and even a rat. Over the course of my life I have had six dogs, numerous cats, several breeding pairs of Cockatiel birds, one rat, two turtles, and I have raised four daughters. I am no stranger to going beyond ensuring basic needs are met, love is provided, messes are cleaned up, and doors are locked behind me! At my home, I have a comfortable backyard and front yard for quality outdoors time, both a park and walking trail nearby for adventure time, and with your permission, would be glad to take your pet out and about, if appropriate. Dogs don’t go on the furniture at my house, so a fluffy pet bed or carrier type crate is the norm around here. I also practice relaxing time at “your place” for dogs. Kitties love me and I enjoy a bit of playtime with them at every visit. I enjoy being outdoors and if you just need your companion walked regularly, (think Cali winter rain here), I can help with that also. I do have daily regular pet appointments and I am currently accepting pets for on-going support. I know that placing your pet family member in someone else’s care can be a big step for you (and them), and I will do everything I can to ensure your wants and their needs are met with love, patience, and joy. I look forward to hearing from you as we begin our partnership providing for the well-being of your pets and companions. Robin Jan. 2, 2020
Reviews
Robin's service was great and she sat for us multiple times. She gave our 3 cats great attention even though one stayed hiding most of the time! She was even kind enough to water our plants during one of our trips away as well. She is reliable. She sent photos of the cats whenever they would come out. They were timid with her at first so it took a few visits before she could see all 3 cats, but she sent us updates on how they were doing based on food consumption, litter use, and water intake.
We feel so comfortable leaving our cats knowing Robin will be dropping in to check on them! She is very communicative, sends pictures and updates, and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. She's our go-to sitter when we go out of town. Thanks Robin!
Robin is so experienced and knowledgeable. My dog is my world and it is so Great to be able to rely on her to take care of him!
Robin is awesome. Returns messages quickly, follows instructions for my pet and my kitty and gives my kitty lots of love.

Information Robin G. would like to know about your pet
I am open for business daily, seven days a week, all year long, with lots of flexibility on scheduling, so please - let's talk about your needs and how I can help you. For everyone's peace of mind, I do require proof of current vaccinations for your cat or dog: and I generally board only one pet at a time, but I am more than willing to consider having up to two of your family pets at my home. For doggy walks: We'll start out in your neighborhood as we get to know each other’s walking style, then perhaps we can go to a local park or nearby walking trail, or we can just simply hang out around the area. On regular walks we have 20-30 minutes for walking and/or active play. Please note, I only walk one pet at a time, I do not walk multiple client dogs on our walks. For drop-in visits: I like to do a potty break first, if appropriate, then some food and water, perhaps a short walk, then some love, petting, brushing, or body rubbing time. For your cat(s): don’t tell my kids, but at your home, I would be glad to clean “the box”, if needed, and then spend time playing with kitty toys or rubbing on your bundle of purr-age. I do have a neutered cat that is friendly with other cats so if you bring your cat carrier, I can pet sit at my house. As mentioned, I am very familiar with avian care and can also support and partner with you on your bird needs, if appropriate. Together at our “Meet and Greet”, (now done ideally over the phone, but other technology options can be considered) you can tell me what your needs are, and we can answer each other's questions. If it seems like a good fit, that's fantastic! If it's not a good fit, that's alright also; it's about keeping Fido and Boots healthy, happy, and loved, right?
A typical day
Pet or Doggy day care, again based on your desires and schedule, may be 4-6 hours. For day care, we will take walks, play, and hang out together around my home. I am happy to pick up and drop off your pet. I am also able to give your dog a bath if you wish; and if they get dirty while in my care, I’ll do my best to ensure they are clean when you see them next! As a house sitter, not only will you receive from me quality pet care, companionship, and love for your babies, but you will also receive someone at your home to water the plants, pick up the paper, pick up the mail and ensure all is well. A house sitting day is a 24-hour day. Depending on your exit and return schedule, I may ask you book an additional day.
