Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and strive to give them the best possible. Currently, I have cats (one came over from the mainland and the others are foster fails). I have also fostered over 200 kittens (neonatal to three months), cats, and puppies. In addition, I was an adoption specialist for a local nonprofit and ran their kennels in Kapolei. I have also volunteered with Hawaiian Monk Seals and Green Sea Turtles. Your pet’s stay with me helps to keep our foster kittens happy and healthy as the money earned from pet care goes directly towards foster care.

I was very pleased with Robin boarding my cat Dipper for Presidents Day. They invited me over to see where he would be staying before we committed to having her watch him. We were able to discuss any concerns I had about a Dipper being away from home and she was very understanding. She kept me updated with pictures and videos while he was there. I highly recommend Robin and plan to use her again for future needs.
I would have left a five star review based on overall satisfaction, however I believe in always leaving room for improvement. Robin and her family combine a unique perspective on husbandry of cats and dogs. Our little angel Peanut, is a small 12 pound terrier mix that we were concerned about leaving with any sitter who have bigger dogs. At Robin’s place, she only takes on a few animals at a time to completely focus on their management and welfare. We were concerned that a bigger dog might turn on Peanut due to aggressive tendencies, that maybe hidden. So we felt safer about choosing her as our Rover sitter. Robin also sends pics and messages throughout the day. That is a huge relief for us. I recommend her for any pet owners, especially ones w cats or small dogs.

In your home, I am very respectful of your space and routines. I will do all that I can to ensure your pets are well cared for and loved as my own until you return.

I instruct at the University of Hawai'i and have a flexible work schedule from home. This allows me to continue my kitten fostering habit and gives me the ability to care for your pets, too!
