Pet care experience
I've always loved dogs (and other animas too)! When I was growing up we always had at least one dog in the home. When I had a family of my own - we always had at least one dog (we also had cats, a bearded dragon, fish, etc.). Now my kids are adults and they all have dogs too! We love dogs - they make us happy! I've worked closely with a Rescue Group serving as a foster. My favorite was when we fostered a Mama dog and her 9 new puppies. We had mom and pups until the pups were 8 weeks old and worked with them on crate training and housebreaking.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the kind loving care my little Princess received from Robin and her husband. I was very anxious about leaving her because of her age and nervousness with change. Princess immediately showed me she was comfortable and felt secure with them. I felt more relaxed when I saw this and could enjoy my sons wedding. Robin sent me pictures when I was there and that helped too! Highly recommend using them for your pups stay when you’re away.
We left our 2 dogs with Robin for 12 days. One is a 15 yr old who sleeps quite a bit and the other is a 4 yr old that like to play and sing. Robin sent lots of updates with pictures throughout their stay. The dogs seemed to really enjoy their time with her and we have already booked another stay in a couple of months. We highly recommend Robin, she is very caring and responsible, you won't be disappointed.

I have known Robin for over 30 years and the majority of that time, she has provided a loving home to a dog. Her love for animals has passed on to her children and is the proud grandma to three dogs. When living in Charlotte, she was active with an animal shelter and fostered numerous dogs and took care of pregnant dogs and their puppies until a furever home was found for them. I wish I lived closer so I could leave my dog with her when I traveled. She is excellent with all dogs and would be a great addition to Rover.

I like to know what activities your dog likes best (walking, playing fetch, playing tug, etc). I like to know how your dog is when you encounter other animals while walking so that I can be prepared and keep your dog safe. I also like to know what commands you use (stay, down, off, release, etc.) so that I can be consistent with you.
A typical day
I know it’s important for dogs to be stimulated both physically and mentally. When walking, I give the dog the chance to sniff all the smells and enjoy their time outside. At my house, I have a fenced yard and play fetch or whatever other games your pup likes to play.
