I have always loved animals and cared for lots of other people’s dogs, cats and horses as a kid and young adult before FINALLY having my own dog, Yuba, who is now 7 and loves welcoming new dog friends to his home. We are on 6 acres (2 acres fully fenced around the house) where we raise vegetables, sheep, goats and chickens. Your dog will get to roam, lounge, play and dig to their heart’s content. I can also take them to the park/on hikes

I highly recommend Robin as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She lives with her husband, several goats, sheep, chickens and their own dog, Yuba on 6 fenced acres in Penn Valley. She is extremely conscientious with all aspects of animal care and Yuba welcomes all dogs to play and hang out. When my dog, Archie, was alive, she took care of him often and he always enjoyed being with her and Yuba.
Robin is an amazing pet sitter and dog walker. I trust her to make my sweet malamute mix feel safe and at home whenever I go out of town. Not only is Robin compassionate and intuitive with animals, but she has a breadth of experience managing animals of all types and temperaments. Her dog Yuba is a sweetheart and a good play companion. Robin's farm is also a dream for any animal to vacation. Lots of acreage, sunshine and activities! Your fur baby will be in good hands with Robin.

I have a large fenced yard and a friendly 60 lb bull dog mix. If I’m feeding your dog I will feed them each in their own space to avoid any tension. As this is a working farm, your dog may learn about electric fences the hard way. They only need to learn once. We also have a bee hive but dogs generally know to steer clear of it.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom so I’m mostly home with baby and doing farm chores/housework. If I have to run an errand I can crate your dog, leave them in the house or take them with me.
