I currently working at a humane society. I've worked in animal welfare for 9 years. I've done everything from husbandry, to vet assistant, to handling behavior and medical cases, and currently work with foster and rescue animals. I'm great with all animals... but if you had to twist my arm I would say I'm a dog guy. I have a cattle dog mix that is kind of crazy and reactive and challenging but I love him! We are honestly lucky to have each other lol. Im totally comfortable administering meds and can do basic positive reinforcement training for dogs. I'm also very good at identifying issues in medical and behavior , and feel comfortable relaying that information to anyone that allows me to watch their furry friend.
