I just relocated from Hawaii to Manasquan Park area to provide medical care to my 4-year old boy. I am now looking forward to have some local paw friends. In Hawaii, I had been a dog handler and trainer since 2019. I have been working with high drive dogs for the past 5 years or so (both detection and obedience). I have a passion for K9 and conservation which lead me to becoming one of the founding members of an invasive species K9 detection program in Hawaii. I have also assessed and selected shelter dogs for Guam Department of Agriculture's biosecurity K9 program, and I am the K9 team lead at the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Response Team, a collaborative partnership with Hawai‘i conservation organizations that aims to eradicate the invasive insect from Hawai'i. I am working remotely from home so I have the time available to welcome your pup to my home and spend some quality time with him/her while you are away!

Roberta is an incredible Rover and took great care of our 2 and a half year old GSD for several doggy day care stays at her house. She’s a great communicator and we were able to coordinate all details smoothly and easily. She clearly has invaluable experience working with and training high drive dogs, which made it really easy to trust her with our pup. We can’t wait to work with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for training, boarding, doggie daycare, etc.
We recently left our Golden/Lab mix with Roberta for five days. After reading her bio, we felt she would be a good fit for our very active three year old - and we were right! Roberta sent regular updates with pics and video for us to see how our girl was doing. She is usually cared for by family when we need to go out of town and it is so nice to find someone local that we feel comfortable leaving her with. You can tell Roberta and her family are all dog lovers and we came home to a tired and happy pup! We highly recommend her!

I have over an acre of land to exercise your dog. Our big home is compartmentalized for your pup's safety and a crate is available if needed. I will take your pup on potty breaks every 2 hours or so. I will be happy to share photos and videos regularly. I don't have any pets currently so your dog will be pampered to the fullest! I have a 4 year old son and a 10 year old daughter who grew up around a high drive Malinois so they sure know how to behave and interact with animals at home. However, I will require that your dog is comfortable around children for everyone's safety.

A typical day
I will not only provide boarding but will provide enrichment activities as needed. Enrichment will be based on information that you will share about your dog's daily routine. I will match as much as possible. Enrichment can involve play, snuggles, walk, run, hiking, etc. It all depends on your dog's needs and/or energy level, and typical routine at your home.
