Dogs are better than people.

Pet care experience

Only small, lap-type dogs would be OK to stay here. Medium or large dogs are not a good fit for the property. Currently, working with horses and have some time and some space to help with small dogs. But, I can house-sit any type of dog. I have always loved dogs and have had several very close to me in my life. I think they can sense when we love them, even if they are strangers in most cases. I have rescued a couple of dogs and found them homes. I'm glad that animals are being appreciated more these days. Dogs are part of the family, and they have feelings, they communicate and when I house and dog sit, I am a guest in their home. I have extensive house care-taking experience, and I have references from homeowners available on request. The best house sitting situations are the ones with dogs and other animals. I respect that a home is an investment, the idea is to improve the property. I look for ways to add value.

Information Robert Z. would like to know about your pet

I'll want to spend some time with the client and the dog talking about all the things I need to know. I like all breeds, and I have no allergies. If the dog needs, or is on meds, if the dog has an issue with incontinence, if there are things that scare or upset the dog, these are all some of the important things to know.

A typical day

The client will give the best instructions about where to walk and play with their dogs. I will not take a dog to a new place without getting permission from the client. Active dogs are great, and I feel like familiarity is important. They usually have favorite things they like to do. The client will tell me.
