Dogs love me!
Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog in the house my whole life. I had a nomadic career in my twenties, but when I came home I always had free time to dog-sit for my brothers and parents. Two of these dogs were easy, a Golden Retriever and a Yellow Lab. But the other is a Black Lab/German Shepard mix who is 110 lbs of non-stop energy and barks. I have been helping to take care of him ever since he was only an adorable 4 weeks old! I especially love bigger dog breeds, but have never gotten to know a dog and not fallen in love! I would love a dog of my own, but my nomadic lifestyle will not allow it. Please, let me take care of your lovely pet while I am home!

Bobby is great with our almost 11 year old Golden Retriever, Gage. He's taken care of him in our home multiple times, from a quick day trip to a multiple day getaway. love having the piece of mind to enjoy a vacation and know that Gage is going to be well taken care of. Gage LOVES when he gets to see Bobby, which I've noticed seems to be a common thing when Bobby is around any dog. I highly recommend Bobby to take care of your fur baby!

I am currently a graduate student living in a dog-friendly apartment. I can handle a pet or 2 at my place, but also like to get outside and take advantage of what Boulder has to offer. If your dog is a hiker, then I will take it on whatever level of hikes it can handle! I also love taking dogs to the dog parks of Boulder, so please warn me if they are not good with other dogs.

I would like to know what activity level your dog needs. If your dog is bad at socializing with other dogs, please warn me! And I obviously expect to be told of any medications I need to administer.
A typical day
I especially love a good hiking dog, as it is a chance for both of us to get some good exercise in. The Flatirons are great for that! I also like to go to the dog park once per day to allow a dog to run off leash and play with other dogs.
