Pet care experience
I started a dog walking business when I was just a young child. Since then I've gone on to volunteer my time with private shelters as well as the humane society. I have personally cared for two of my own dogs since I was a teenager. I have worked as a walker and simple pet care giver as a side job on and off throughout my adult life. Currently I am a seasonal worker in tourism and entertainment. My whole life pet care has been something I value greatly. I understand that our animals are like family and how important their well being is. I look forward to caring for your pet.

My dog loves Rob! I have a 15mo old Rottweiler puppy and for anyone who knows Rotties, they can be quite stubborn and require consistent training and socialization. I felt completely comfortable letting Rob take my dog on long walks and he always came back happy. He always seemed to understand what my dog needed and was able to stick with my rules, which is important in the training process. Rob is definitely someone I would recommend to take care of anyone's dog. They will come back happy and well cared for!
Rob truly loves every dog he’s ever met. He treats each dog with specialized love and attention and understands they all have their own needs and unique personalities. He has volunteered at a local dog shelter and has also become my own dog’s best friend.

The most important thing for me to know about a dog is how they respond to strangers in their familiar environment. Different dogs respond differently to people they are not familiar with and I just want to be certain that my presence in their comfort zone won't be an issue for them. The next thing that I find important is knowing about the dogs social behavior, in other words, how the dog reacts to other people and animals when outside their home. I love all types of dogs pure bred or mixed, large or small, young or old.
A typical day
I like to walk my dog in low traffic residential and rural areas as well as the beach. When volunteering at local shelters I engage the dogs in whatever type of play time they enjoy the most.
