Pet care experience
I've walked dogs & cat sat on and off since I was 10. I volunteered at a nature center taking care of, cleaning up after and herding animals of all kinds. Dogs and cats seem to gravitate towards me inexplicably too. Am willing to look after another type of animal too. I'm new to Maine and am excited to walk new blocks, meet new people & animals - and if they like to play, all the better!!

I always make sure that the pet is secured and safe. I'm happy and attend to any special needs/preferences per owner's direction. I've had to administer medicine to animals all sorts of ways - nothing surprises me :^)

I'd like be in step with the owner re their training process, behaviors to reinforce, which commands/communications they know, etc. And of course I'd like to know their preferences for walks & treats. Any heads up regarding escape attempts or sudden actions are always important? And anything else you think is helpful! Please let me know how you’d like to do a preliminary meet up.
A typical day
I love going on trails in the woods, parks and beaches (if permitted/desired) and exploring the area. If I'm hanging with an older dog I’m fine with snuggling and hanging at home. So something like Back Cove, a walk along the Prom but also the option to chill in the sun or inside.
