I'm excited about making friends with all the coolest dogs in town! I'm really looking forward to RoverGo helping me to find all the bellies to rub, and all the pets to pat, while also providing dog people with the peace of mind that their best friends are in good hands! I have a dog named Neville Longbottom, and a cat named Luna Lovegood. They are both sweet and well-loved. Your pet will be treated just like our animals: with love, respect, equanimity, and attention. This is standard for any dogs that I interact with, even out in public spaces. This is the same way that I have been treating dogs that I own, host, or watch for the last 20-something years. I have also previously volunteered with a shelter before, doing basic cleanup work, and trying my best to interact without getting attached to the pups awaiting adoption. I've watched cats, birds, and even a snake. I've even owned rabbits and rodents. I love that all animals seem to have their own shared traits on top of their individual personalities. Collectively, I have learned that it's important to pay attention to the quirks and needs of individual animals, in order to form the best relationships with them. Birds taught me patience, and the snake taught me the importance of making sure the lid is on tight. I would be open to caring for all types of animals, no matter how strange, provided I am able to adjust the environment to suit the animals needs/behaviors, and have enough education to care for them confidently. I've previously owned (and am a huge fan of) Boxers, Pitbulls, and Queensland Heelers. In the future, I *really* hope to own a Pharaoh Hound (because they are intelligent and smile). I have a dog of my own, and we do everything with him. Neville goes camping and hiking with us, which is pretty impressive for a small dog. We also like to take trips to the store, hang out in the backyard (Neville like to help chase crickets and butterflies while I do things in the garden), and go on random adventures throughout the day. I'm also a big fan of building community, so Neville occasionally gets to play the guest of honor/ambassador at small events around the city. We especially like street markets and anyplace with art. We try to do something interesting at least once a week if not more.
