Pet care experience
Since I can remember, I’ve always lived in a home with multiple dogs and wouldn’t want it any other way! My wife and I currently have a samoyed and golden retriever - both fun loving and playful. I live on an acre and a half of land at the end of a dead end street where cranberry bogs surround all sides of our home. I work from home for a software company but am completely off Sat-Mon. We have a large pool with a gate around it that our dogs love to swim in and the paths along the bogs are great for walks and exercise! I know the stress of leaving your fur baby with strangers and want nothing more than to help others confidently leave their pups in good hands to make their time away as stress free as possible! Hourly updates with photos and videos always help us feel at rest and I want to be able to provide that level of care and service but if you’re the type of owner that prefers end of day recaps, that’s fine too! I’m less than 10 minutes from our local vet and close to many trails and dog friendly beaches if your pup is one for adventure! Our dogs live more of a luxurious life than we do and are allowed on all furniture and sleep on the bed with us - a California king with plenty of space for more company if that’s what your pup prefers!

Robert and his wife took such good care of our Finny! He sent morning and evening updates and plenty of photos. Fin loved their 2 dogs and spent a lot of time running around outside, playing, a trip to Lowe’s and got plenty of cuddles. Leaving Fin for vacations is always tough for us but Robert and his wife put our minds at ease day 1! Having a trustworthy dog sitter is everything and Robert is exactly that. Thanks so much!! We can tell Fin already misses you all!

Robert and his wife were incredible hosts for our dog while we were away for our wedding. This was the first time that we used Rover and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They completely put our minds at ease and we will 100% be using them again. Our flight was very early in the morning and Robert was extremely accommodating. We dropped our dog off super early in the morning and Robert and his wife had no issues at all. Every day we received multiple photos and updates on how our dog was adjusting and how he was doing overall. Robert and his wife have two dogs themselves and our dog became apart of their pack! Robert has a big back yard that was perfect for our dog to run around and play in. They even let our dog sleep in their bed and on their couch which is our dog’s preferred places to sleep and relax. Overall, we couldn’t rate Robert and his wife higher, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to recommend them to anyone and everyone. Our 10 month old pup Alo spent a week with Rob and his pups and had a great time. It was our first time leaving her and Rob made us feel comfortable by sending plenty of pictures and updates throughout the week. We would absolutely use Rob again in the future!

We have two friends medium sized dogs (50-60 lbs) and live on an ache and a half of mowed lawn. We don’t have a fence but live on a dead end street that is very quiet and surrounded by cranberry bogs. We do have a pool that the dogs are welcome to swim in (with a lifeguard on duty) and it is fenced so they cannot go in unless they’re brought in. We love our dogs more than anything in the world and can’t wait to give that love and affection to your fur baby! Our pups rule our home and are allowed on all furniture but if your prefer a more strict household, we can follow any and all rules you prefer. Half of our downstairs area is open and puppy proofed for any indoor play but outside monitored play is always an option no matter the time of day or frequency!

when do your dog like to eat and go for walks? Routines are huge for most pups so I don’t want to break that! Is your pup OK being off leash in the yard? Are you ok with your dog swimming? Are their any medical issues we should know about?
A typical day
We are often up by 6 am and start the day with some food and a walk! I work from home but spend all day with our dogs and take a break to go out in the yard and get some exercise every hour or so. We walk about a mile at lunch and then again after dinner around 6 pm. We usually stick to our dead end road but some days walk the paths around the cranberry bogs by our home. A swim is always fun on a hot day and we are usually calling it a day around 9 pm.

I current work Tues-Fri from home but I spend the whole day with my own pups making sure they’re constantly getting love, attention and exercise! I have a large yard for getting the energy out AND a pool if your ok with your pup swimming while of course being monitored. We go on 3 daily walks a day around the cranberry bogs and street (dead end) but can go more often if needed! Working from home makes time outside very easy so our dogs spend most of the day with me in the yard when the weather calls for it.
