At the age of 8 I spent my life savings on a bird. By age 9 I sold the bird and bought Brandy, a Cocker Spaniel pup who instantly became my best friend. Brandy was my companion for the remainder of my childhood and early adult years. I fed her, walked her, bathed her and administered her medication whenever necessary. At the age of 21 I became a cat owner and have been almost consistently ever since. On occasion I take in a friend's Dachshund and Chihuahua-Pit mix while he's out of town. Whenever I go to his house Miley (Chihuahua-Pitbull) waits by my car hoping to come home with me LOL. My family and I love having them here and I enjoy taking them to the dog park or anywhere dog friendly. I currently have no obligations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays. I work in St. Pete from 7 a.m. to 4:30 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, on which days I may be available in the evening. I have a fenced-in backyard that is spacious enough for larger dogs to play and roam freely. Living with me are my teenage daughter, my fiancé and our 2 cats, Max and Menchie. Max is declawed in the front and keeps his distance from people and animals until he gets to know them. Menchie is playful and curious. She's eager to play unless a larger animal poses as a threat, at which point she'll keep her distance. I'm a 3 minute drive from Downtown Safety Harbor and adjacent to Downtown Dunedin, both of which are full of dog-friendly spots. Enterprise Dog Park is about a 5 minute drive.
