I've had two or more dogs and pets since I was young. I train all my dogs to perform at least the basic five tasks of sit, stay, lay down, come, heal, but also fetch, shake, and volume control exercises. I have had a range of dog sizes from a Dachshund, a miniature Schnauzer, a Boxer, an American Bulldog, Labrador mixes, Collie mixes, and German Shepherd dog. As a professional home health aide and long-term care aide, I have a desire to keep my clients up to their normal routines as much as we can and maybe do some things that are out of the ordinary too like having iced cream cones together. That care translates to me and my dogs so that we have a close bond between us. I have also had cats, one of whom I was very close with and chickens ,while living out in rural areas. I've experienced just about all kinds of care routines with animals. I have daytime activities, for a school of radiologic technology during the weekdays. I am most available on certain weekday evenings and nights, but more available during the weekends. I appreciate a close communication with clients so that we each know the others needs and appointed time and the trust that comes with the job of taking charge of a loved one's care.
