I am a recent retiree, so I have the time to devote to caring for your dog. Our dogs passed away and we immediately missed the companionship and love that they provided, so we went on a pretty intense search of shelters and rescue groups. The search paid off, as we adopted two beautiful, well behaved, but high energy rescues - a border collie and Australian shepherd. They love to play and would welcome another playmate. Depending on compatibility, your dog(s) could either come here or I could take care of them in your home. We live in a gated community that has about a mile of Onion Creek frontage, which is ideal for daily hikes. Might include a swim too, if it's okay with the parents.
