Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats in my life ever since I was a child. I now have my 5 year old energetic golden retriever that I absolutely adore, Artemis. My family members, neighbors, and friends have always relied on me to house sit, walk their dogs, or even drop in to help with feeding schedules for their cats / dogs alike. I joined Rover to help other pet parents able to be out worry free and not have to rush home if they are running late or stuck in traffic (or heck, maybe even just having a great time!)

I understand how to use a variety of dog leashes, harnesses, lead leashes, etc. I have a very strong (and energetic!) golden retriever, so also know how to walk really high energy dogs as well.

I am more than happy to walk and do drop ins for any type of pup! Before doing so, it’s helpful to know if your pup has any type of aggression (human or dog) when walking, what types of commands (slow, stay, easy) there are, and any type of hand commands there may be as well.
A typical day
I love to be able to help rambunctious dogs and energetic dogs able to relieve their energy! Having a large dog myself, I know how much work can go into walking a pup. I’ve enjoyed taking my dog on long walks, hiking, swimming, and more.

Availability
I’m currently working from home M/Th/Fri, so would be able to help out if needed during any time of day. For the days I work in the office, I’m able to still do morning care (before 7am) or evening care (after 6pm).
