Hi! I've known Ro for years. I'm happy to share my honest opinion of her strengths of character that would make her an awesome dog sitter. SENSITIVE I've watched her interact with my dog, which is a very shy, sensitive and high maintenance pomeranian (she just came that way I swear, lol) and immediately Ro picked up on subtleties of her character and I felt "got" her personality and let's be honest, neediness! In my experience, even other dog people aren't always able to sense what different breeds of dog are like because they haven't been exposed to them. Ro tunes into their personality right away! CARING She thinks ahead, reminding the dogs to hydrate and seeing when they might be tired, heading into shaded areas if it's a hot day. Rewarding them and playing. Basically, I've seen Ro do anything and everything for the comfort of your child..I mean dog! DETAIL-ORIENTED Ro is one of the most detailed people I know... I know she could handle managing any type of special needs a dog might have, like if your dog has special diet restrictions or anything else. I can't imagine anything being too detailed for her...really! PROTECTIVE Ro has a naturally protective nature. When she's walking a dog I can tell she's always thinking about her surroundings in the way that's best for the animals, which to me is a HUGE deal when you take your fuzzy-baby out in this busy city. You have to be attuned to your surroundings and reading potential dangers such as approaching other dogs, handsy children, avoiding food scraps or trash on the sidewalks, and just generally being aware of the safety of your animal at all times.

Ro is a dog person, always playing with dogs of friends and setting up play dates with her own dog. Ro is also very cautious when meeting new dogs whilst walking her own. She will alway ask other pet owners about the temperament of their dog before allowing them to get too close.
