Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm Robin/RJ. I just mover to Washington Heights. I try to get out of the city to hike frequently. I'd gladly take your dog with me if you think he or she'd like a longer more intense walk! My dog and I love Fort Tryon Park, especially the dog park. I'm work freelance in film and TV production so I'm available intermittently and would love to care for your dog(s) and or cat(s). I grew up with corgis but I love all dog kinds. My dog, Frodo, is a 29 lbs purebread Somma…somma this and somma that.

RJ was amazing with my cat Purdy. I could tell that she’s a genuine animal lover as soon as she stopped by. She sent me pics & detailed updates everyday that she visited Purdy. Very nice to return home after traveling to a very happy kitty. Would 100% recommend RJ!
Above and beyond amazing!! She sent tons of photos, gave the dog plenty of exercise/playtime & seemed to really enjoyed hanging with my pup. Don’t even think twice about booking!!

RJ has been such a wonderful help checking on my corgi while I’m at work. I always know he’s in the best hands with her because she’s a corgi lover. I can tell that he has just as good a time with her as she does with him. She always sends plenty of pictures and is very detailed about each visit. She’s very flexible and always lets me know her availability.

My dog is crated at night. I allow dogs on the couch but I do not allow dogs on the bed since that’s cat territory. I foster cats for some local organizations and am currently fostering a 6 month old kitten. She can be closed into her room if we have a visiting doggy who is unfamiliar with cats.

I'd like to know if your dog is good on a leash, does he or she have a favorite toy? Are they scared of cars? Are they good with people or other dogs? All of this would help me figure out a good walking or care plan.
A typical day
My dog Frodo and I have been going to Fort Tryon dog park every day. We do one shorter walk first thing in the morning, dog park for an hour or so midday, then an evening walk.

My next project doesn’t start for a few weeks so I’m currently around full time. I’m available to cat sit, dog walk, day care and board as long as your dog gets along with others since I have Frodo my dog at home.
