I am an Illustrator from Eastern Washington who has a soft spot for anything furry and four legged! I have a Rescue Pit bull (Mary) and Blue heeler (Josi) back home, but i had to leave them with my family when i came to school in Portland. I have always loved dogs and grew up surrounded by many breeds, from Dobermans to Chiwawas. I have much experience with training my own dogs and am willing to adapt my methods to suit your best buddy's individual needs! I'm very patient with new puppies and old dogs alike. Mary had suffered from abuse and neglect from her previous owner. It required a lot of patience and love for her to come out of her shell. We trained her along side Josi and used a lot of positive reinforcement! We had originally took her in as a foster pet, but after a few short weeks she was already a part of the family. You'll be happy to know she now plays with her new best friend, Josi and loves to go swimming! Though it was hard at first, I gained a better understanding how to handle separation anxiety in previously abused rescue animals .
