Pet care experience
Growing up we always had a handful of different pets that I was solely responsible for until my younger brother (7 years younger) was old enough to help out. Originally our biggest pet was our cat until we brought home our first puppy when I was in late middle school. Taking care of a puppy made our cats seem easy, but it was so worth it. We were always the house that people reached out to for pet sitting, walking, or feeding so we always knew all of the pets on our street. In 2021 my husband and I added a puppy to our family and, although slightly biased, we think he turned out pretty well so we're more than happy to help with whatever training steps you're on.

Riva was exactly what I was looking for in a sitter for our puppy. She is responsive, organized and clearly loves dogs. Clover stayed for 11 nights and will be returning. I received daily photos/videos while I was away. Her dog Remy was also the perfect companion!
As always, Milo felt at home while with Riva, Chandler, and Remy. She took great care of him even though he had to stay while he was recovering from an injury. Thanks for everything!!

Riva is amazing! She’s very patient and really loves and enjoys being with dogs and it shows! I had a stress free vacation because of her care and am so realized that Midnight has new extended family to care for Him when I can’t.

I have a fenced in backyard and one friendly Cavalier to keep your furbaby company! We keep a stock of toys to help stimulate the pups brains and different treats (you can approve ahead of time) we use to build trust with your pup. We also currently have 2 crates if crating is needed even though I am home most of the day. Our pup will go into his crate when he is ready for a break or nap and we'll put him in there occasionally at night if one of us has a big day the next day (aka very rarely).

I like to know their feeding schedule and habits, some dogs graze throughout the day unlike ours which gobbles up any crumb he can find! Any commands they know, if there are any spot they don't like to be pet, how they get along with other dogs, and how you guys sleep together at home are great things to know. We want to make sure we make it as easy of a transition as possible for them.
A typical day
We're very fortunate to have a 6ft fenced in backyard so we play fetch in the yard and the house (the house is more with little doggos), tug of war, we have a very walkable neighborhood as well so we'll be able to walk all over town. If they are comfortable in cars we go to Brookdale Park to walk around.

I try to take my pup out once a day for a walk even though we have a fenced in backyard. My husband and I tend to be homebodies so even if we see friends or family we try to have then to our house or keep our visits short 😁 Since we have our own pup, pet care is part of our every day life. I'm available for weekend and weekday overnights!
