I have two of my own babies; a beagle 10yrs old, a cocker spaniel 2yo & also a calico cat 5yo, Red chicken less than 1yo. I love my pets, I called them my babies; my son had an idea to petsit others so I don't add anymore labor jobs and stay close to home. Haha, my boys are grown up so this way I get to nurture someone's baby while they work. I don't have an issues with larger dogs, for example Rottypit mix etc. My roommate had one & I took care of her like my own when she was out of town. I will do the same with yours. I do have a back injury reason why my boys want me to give up working laboring jobs and enjoy myself babysitting.
