Pet care experience
My very first job was walking dogs, and I ended up caring for and walking 4 dogs in my neighborhood when I was in 8th grade! I also did some cat sitting, but I, unfortunately, cannot anymore due to allergies. It’s one of my favorite jobs because I get to work and learn about different breeds & it makes the time go by quicker as I wait to get my own dog ( once I’m done with school)! I always send pictures of the fun we are having while you’re away! Check out the video I made of all furry friends I made last year! 🥰

Rita watched my dog while my family was on Spring break. She came to meet her before we left and I could tell she loved animals and was going to do a great job. While I was away she was an excellent communicator, walked my dog daily, and even sent pictures throughout the week. Rita stayed at my home so she also collected the mail and kept an eye in things which made me feel good while I was away. When I came home the house was perfectly clean and my dog was happy to see me, but definitely had been well cared for. Rita is wonderful!
Rita took good care of our 2 cats on several occasions. I made a detailed list of the house and cat tasks that I needed her to take care of while we were out of town and she followed it. What I really love about Rita is her open communication. She would text me with any questions and responded to my texts as well. Rita would send me photos of Thomas and Jerry daily and that really eased my mind. Her clear communication really made the difference in my ability to enjoy our time away from our cat babies. I would recommend Rita to anyone that truly worries about their pets when they are away from home.

It is. good to know how your dog does on a leash, and around other dogs smaller and bigger of course. Another thing to know is if your dog has been neutered or not, and to watch out for other dogs if taken to a dog park or if they come into the yard.
A typical day
I love taking dogs out to explore parks near their house for something different and fun for them. In the summer time I'm sure to bring water with me as well for the dog and myself.

I am currently going to Loyola for my Masters in Social Work, so I can do drop-ins and walks as needed and could do overnights occasionally.
