Pet care experience
I grew up always surrounded by animals, and yes, dogs are my favourites! As an owner of two active dogs, I have learned about dog training and their well-being. I used to walk dogs from my hometown shelter, back in Portugal, as well. As a canine enrichment enthusiast, I'm also creative in developing and adapting games. Fun is guaranteed! I hope to provide quality time to your best furry friend!

Rita is an outstanding dog sitter, and I'm beyond pleased with the care she provided for my vovve Ice. Excellent pet caregiver with genuine love for animals! Rita has recently helped with our parent's dog (Rafale) who broke his elbow and needed 24/7 care throughout a long 5-month period of recovery. She was restless, especially in the days right after Rafale's surgery. She was very in tune with the needs of the dog, understanding when the dog was in pain, when he needed to pee or even when he was just frustrated from not being able to move! Once the dog regained mobility, she helped with the walks, always showing lots of patience and care for Rafale's limitations. Rafale is now healed and Rita is free to help other doggos! I defo recommend Rita for petsitting services, 5*.

In the case of boarding or daycare, toxic plants and other hazardous things will be kept at a distance. As I live in an apartment, the nearby gardens and city parks will be our outdoors. If your dog suffers from anything that requires extra care or attention, let me know in advance. PS. My dogs don't live with me in Sweden... yet. So, yours will be the Queen/King of the house.

I always like to know if there are any specific concerns, from behavioural to health conditions, so I can prepare myself to provide the optimal stay and avoid stressful situations for the dog.
A typical day
I like to provide a varied and enriched routine to my guests. Different types of walks will be carried, allowing the dog to satisfy all their needs: potty, sniffing or just sitting in a green space for a rest. Longer walks and playing fetch for more active dogs, without health restrictions. At home, I do games such as hide and seek for treats, small play with their favourite toys and most importantly: relaxation time with lots of cuddles.

My schedule is quite flexible because I'm a student and doing my master's thesis. I'm available during all the week, weekends included. I have no time restrictions.
