I work from home and my dogs get to enjoy me all day long. My husband is retired and loves dogs as well. I think that are four legged friends should have fun and enjoy life. They truly are just like our children. It is important for them to interact with people and other dogs on a regular basis. The thought of leaving them alone with no interaction brings tears to my eyes. My dogs are completely spoiled on my 5 acre ranch. I tease my friends that it is like Disneyland for them and that I could never move because it would not be fair to my 2 year old rescue who spends all day running around. My property is split into multiple play areas all include shade areas and is completely fenced in. This way everyone enjoys their time at the ranch. I also have a doggie door allowing them to come in and stay in on cold and ugly days. I feel very lucky to have dogs as my work colleagues.
