However, not only am I a huge dog lover, I also have a year and a half of experience walking and taking care of dogs. My previous job was working at a local doggie daycare. I loved bringing dogs to the park, taking them on walks, and giving endless belly rubs! Now, I have changed jobs and am looking to still interact with dogs as much as I can. I can't wait to meet your dog. My partner and I own our own dog, a year old coonhound mix. We take her on walks everyday and try to bring her to the dog park across the street from our home as much as possible. I will treat your dog like my own, just as I would hope someone would do with our girl. Every dog is different, and I believe should be treated as so. I have no issue meeting you and your dog in advance. I want you to be as comfortable as possible in this process. If not, please let me know if there is anything I should be aware of when caring for your dog. For example: Any injuries? Any aggression toward other dogs or people? Any allergies to treats? Will your dog need to be fed? Any other important information, please do not hesitate to let me know. Even the smallest detail can be helpful. I want your dog to have the best possible experience. The only thing I require is that your dog has a harness or prong collar when I walk him or her. Walking dogs by just their collar is dangerous and puts them at risk of slipping out or choking themselves. It is more common than you think!
