Pet care experience
I started pet sitting from a very young age and by about 20 years old I had accumulated enough private clients to make pet sitting my main income. I've seen it all and done it all. Puppies, kittens, dogs, cats, fish, and horses. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I also have experience giving medication to both cats and dogs. Additionally, I have fostered both cats and dogs many times over the last few years. I currently have one dog and one cat of my own and I absolutely spoil my babies. We just moved to California a couple weeks ago from Washington and are finally settled in enough to open our home to helping out other pets!

Riley is the only person I trust to watch my animals. She’s attentive to them and the most reliable person I know. She has a lot of experience with being a pet caregiver. I’ve left my animals with her several times for up to a week a time and I have nothing but good things to say about her, especially since I have a very needy lab. 10/10 would recommend Riley to anyone who needs someone to watch their pets:)
Riley has pet-sit both my dog and cat through the years. Both of them have medical issues and she has always been happy to accommodate their schedules for dispensing medicine. She is loving towards them and they always greet her with excitement and affection. I have found her to be very dependable and happy to go the extra mile. When my dog was younger she would take him for walks, jogs, and even a hike up our local "mountain". I highly recommend her for quality care of your furry friends.

I treat every pet as my own, with love and respect! I ask for written instructions from my clients to ensure that I am caring for their fur babies to their standards as well. My own dog is crate trained and can be easily separated if you or your animal prefers alone time in my care. Same for my cat, she is very chill and loving and can be separated to my bedroom if need be.

I think it's super important to get a list of commands and tricks from you ahead of time so that I know how to properly communicate with your pet! Some people may say "leave it" or a classic "no" or even snap or whistle to their animal to get them to stop doing something. It's good to know what your dog is used to!
A typical day
I live about a block away from a local park, the dogs love going for walks through the neighborhood and ending at the park for some water and sniffing! If it's empty enough, I put the long leashes on and we run around or play fetch!

Availability
I currently work a part time job from my apartment in La Mesa with VERY flexible hours. I am working on beginning to train for another half marathon so runs and walks are a huge part of my day right now.
