I grew up with animals my entire life, my grandmother who I lived most of my life, had 4 dogs and 18 or 19 cats which she still has 2 dogs and 7 cats from and my parents let me have hampsters (I had 4 or 5 and 2 or them bread and had babies 3 times so 2 turned into 27 and I found good homes for all them except for the parents and 2 babies which I kept) and my brother had 2 frogs (one was actually choking on a pebble once and was just floating and I picked it up out of the water and I pressed on its stomach and the pebble popped out and it jumped out of my hands back into the water) my brother currently has a snake at my dad's house, and me and my 2 siblings at the time had 2 ferrets 5 years ago for about 9 or 10 years and then they, unfortunately, passed away ( jewels from old age and I think her brother Rock died from a broke heart cause she passed away 2 months after her),I also dog sit for my aunt who has a mini pincher who is 12 years old so he's a senior and I watch and help her give him medicines all the time, among countless people in my family who have birds, dogs (big and small), cats, lizards, and I even know someone that has a sugar glider and another that has a hedgehog. so I am very experienced with animals and yours are in good hands. <3
