Hi there! My name is Riley, and I can’t wait to meet your pets! While I can't keep animals at my home, I am happy to stay at your home and care for your pets there. I can also do drop in visits, bathing, and walks. Animals are truly my passion, and there's not one breed or species I wouldn't want to care for. I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I have personally owned dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I currently work at a veterinary hospital, where I have been for over a year. I previously worked at a dog and cat boarding facility as well. With these two jobs, I have gained experience with multiple things. I have experience handling dogs and cats of all sizes, dog and cat first aid/cpr, administering oral and injectable medication, feeding varied diets, walking, and bathing. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to take care of their pets since I was a kid. My goal for the future is to become a vet, so hopefully I’ll go from walking your dog to keeping them happy and healthy! I can guarantee that while your pet is under my care, they will be treated as one of my own. You can be sure that they will be in great hands. And definitely expect some daily picture and video updates!

My 10 year old cat had developed some serious health complications two weeks before leaving on an international trip. I am forever grateful that Riley returned my phone call so quickly. Within 5 minutes I knew that I would be leaving my little one in the best hands. Riley did an incredible job administering medications, keeping track of my cat’s overall health, and keeping me informed. Truly and forever grateful for Riley’s great care that she provided.
Riley was awesome! She took great care of my cats and was communicative and reliable. She was also very flexible, as we extended our stay and she accepted all if those additional drop ins. I would definitely rebook her again!!!
Riley was friendly and prompt for all our interactions and communicative during the stay. She was super easy and my extra shy cat took to her right away! So glad to make this connection and look forward to having her watch my babies again.
Riley was an amazing pet sitter for us. She took the time at our meet and greet to ask about our dog Abby’s routine and her needs. Riley sent us fun photos and videos of her time with Abby that was most appreciated. Abby was very content we got back home and the house was left spotless. We will be contacting Riley again for our future pet sitting needs!

The most important thing for me to know about your dog ahead of time is where their primary veterinary hospital is. I work at a veterinary hospital, so I know how important it is to make sure your pet receives the care they need while you’re gone. It is also important for me to know their routine, including their diet, energy level, and their favorite things to do.
A typical day
Depending on what your pet likes to do, I will alter my plan according to them. I can match their energy level and keep them entertained, and I can give them lots of love and attention that you’d be giving them if you were home. If your dog likes to be outside, we may go for a walk or hike, or maybe the park. We may also play in the yard. Or if they love being a couch potato, I’m happy to hang out with them at home and maybe try a puzzle toy.

Availability
I currently work part time and go to school so I may be unavailable for large chunks of some days. Depending on where you are located, I may be able to do a drop in visit during my lunch break. I have also started school again, so I made a detailed schedule of what a typical week would look like below. We can also discuss my schedule at the time of booking, as sometimes it can vary. Mondays: Class from 9am-3pm Tuesdays: Class from 10am-5pm Wednesdays: Work from 8am-2pm, Class from 3pm-5pm Thursdays: Class from 10am-5pm Fridays: Working either 6-9 hour shift Saturdays: Working 8am-3pm
