Pet care experience
Hi! Im Riley, Im 21 and aside from having and caring for my own pets (3 family dogs, 1 of my own) I have worked with animals my entire life! I spent the last year working on a horse farm as well as caring for our own animals ( 2 cows, a donkey, turkeys & chickens) with the help of family. I have experience with dog specific basic training and enrichment. I’m familiar with administering medications and the physical, mental and emotional needs that your pets may have and believe I can provide them with a safe environment to make your time away from them as seamless as possible.

Riley has taken care of our dog, Jake for most weekends this summer. She takes such good care of him, we know that Jake is in good hands when we are not there. Because he is an older dog, she comes to take him out several times a day. He looks forward to seeing Riley, because she treats him like he is her own pet.

Depending on your needs as a client I will be either walking, playing letting out, feeding etc. your pets as needed. When your pets are with me they’ll be getting plenty of love and play. I just ask that you are very honest about their temperament with people and around other animals. If I’m walking I will always use a leash and I also carry pepper spray with me at all times to protect not only myself, but also your pets. I like to walk during the day, so thankfully many people are off the trails and at work. I’m fully aware of red flag signs to look out for in case of medical emergencies, safety is my #1 priority.

Trail Walks Various enrichment exercises ( shaping, puzzles, training) Dog specific play ( for example I have a lab who loves to play frisbee, so we play LOTS of frisbee)

Availability
I am self employed, so my work follows me wherever I go which mean your pets can get the care they need — any time of day! Im available for morning, midday and afternoon walks or feedings. I offer 15-30 minute exercise sessions and/or walking (distance determined by need or request).
