I grew up on a 416 acre farm. Animals are what I know best. I’ve had all types of dogs, handled wildlife, and even helped raise litters. I love training animals and giving them all kinds of attention, from walks to baths to treats.

Riley’s been watching and training our pets since 2012 and we trust no one else. She’s a real pet whisperer! Not just dogs. Dogs, rabbits, our fish, and our geckos! She’s been through multiple pets with us. We leave our pets in her total care when we travel - which is a lot. She even cared for our dog, Mika, during her dying days.❤️ She’s an expert trainer, as well- she has taught out dogs all of their tricks. Our Golden, Rosie, loves overnights with Riley - she is treated like family and that just makes us feel so genuinely GRATEFUL!

I currently have one dog, a shiba inu, who loves to play, and two cats who mind their own business or sit in a room upstairs (which is gated off for safety). If your dog needs to be crated, this can easily be done. If not, they’re completely fine running around the house all day! Farmington Lakes Park is nestled within my neighborhood, so all walks are calm and private. I also have two children but they go to daycare during the day and are VERY respectful of all animals! I’ve taught them to know different body languages and sounds so they are aware of how an animal is feeling. They love to help me teach our dog new tricks. They usually are not home on weekends.

I can accommodate for all types of needs, but I would love to know about them! Medicine, special needs, a preferred treat, any anxiety, etc.
A typical day
I love giving treats, and your dog might come home knowing a new trick! Walks are fun and easy: I live right down the street from Farmington Lakes Park, a scenic route along Waubonsie Creek with lots of sights and smells to explore.
