I’m absolutely enamored by animals! Growing up, I always had pets to care for and I grew quite accustomed to my life revolving around them. Since starting my university studies, I made the decision to be a part-time pet care provider on Rover so I can still spend time with as many fur babies, scaly sweethearts and fantastic creatures as possible! Throughout my years as a petsitter, I’ve always remained a reliable and trustworthy source for my clients to call at any time, it’s an absolute pleasure for me to help my clients as much as I can! I’ve cared for multiple animals at once, animals large and small, pets with special needs as well as senior pets, puppies and kittens. I’ve primarily taken care of dogs and cats, however I’ve also watched a range of animals including: fish, snakes, lizards, tortoises and rabbits. I’m always ready and ecstatic for the opportunity to learn how to care for a new pet! Whatever your pet needs, I’m there!

Riley looked after my senior cat for a week and took such great care of him while I was away. She was wonderful with communicating anything that arose and just handled any hurdles that came her way. I so appreciated her help as it’s not always easy to leave my cat for a period of time. I highly recommend her as a trustworthy pet sitter and lover of animals.

Riley was so attentive and engaged with Sushi. She’s very communicative and goes above and beyond for her clients. She sends pictures and videos updating on Sushi while I am away. And my dog got her walks and fresh air. Thank you for accommodating us on a short notice. We definitely feel her genuine care and love for pets! Every home I visit I make sure to understand each pet’s unique needs. I’m happy to adapt to how you care for your pet so they feel right at home and in their routine when you’re away! I always like to have a meet and greet prior to working with a new client to be sure I understand their care requirements and so we both can be sure I am a good fit for your needs! While you’re away I like keeping you up to date with pictures of your pet and little updates on their day (with that in mind I also love having some extra contacts I can reach, if needed, if you happen to be unavailable)!

Before you leave your pet in my care, there’s a few things I make a point of asking: Is there any allergies, medications they take or special needs I should be aware of? Are they comfortable around other dogs, cats and the other animals near your home? Are there any animals near your home that are show signs of aggression to your pet? What is their potty break schedule like, do you have a doggy door or do you leave a door open for them when you are home/away? What is their feeding schedule like, do they free feed or is their any particular routine you have to their feedings? Are treats okay for them, and how often if so? Will you be reachable while I am watching your pet? Any emergency contacts? Vet contacts if needed?
A typical day
I love to keep the pets I watch on a similar routine to what they are used to with you! I’ll ask what routes they are used to walking on, and their favorite parks to play in! If you are comfortable with me driving them around I am happy to take them with me just about anywhere you’d like to let their energy out!
