I have owned dogs since i was very young from small to large ones. I've owned a miniature rat terrier and also a Leonberger which is a very large dog breed. I currently am only available mostly on the weekends due to my week day jobs that keep me busy. But when I am available I will endlessly love your dog and make sure they are happy! I really enjoy taking dogs for walks and run, and also playing with them outside when it is nice out. I currently do not own a dog so this job is really great for me since it will still allow me to be around dogs part time! I will always try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to taking care of your dogs. But please when booking and doing request’s remember that this is a way to make extra money to help pays bills and set some aside for fun things to do. So when booking think of it as an hourly pay job, when it says house sitting it’s per night, that is only for me spending the night at your house with the pups as for why it says per night! It isn’t per day. Usually when people dog sit or baby sit they do hourly rates, this doesn’t give the option to. So house sitting is just for spending the night, for me to be at the house and do potty breaks and 30 min walks is a separate fee for those! $32 for house sitting is not enough for me to be at your house for hours throughout the day besides spending the night with them. So when booking please remember to book potty breaks and walks separate from the house sitting. Often people overlook those and think the $32 per day is okay, but for some people who rover is a full time job to is not enough or even part time. I do this because I love dogs but in doing this it’s extra money to go towards bills etc. so we need to get paid properly! Thank you for understanding! I’ve let this go for a while now, and now that I have more bills I cannot let it slide, so when requesting a booking if it only says house sitting, I will ask you if I need to let the dogs out throughout the day or walk them and if so I will correct the charges so it’s proper and let you know why. I hope you can all respect this and not get aggravated by it because I love watching your dogs!❤️ Another reason I say this is because my last booking I was with the dogs for 5 days but the owners only paid me the per night house sitting charge and I did not correct them and they had me letting the dogs out and feeding them throughout the day also, they got upset because I wasn’t staying at the house for the full day besides my other job that I work that I had told them about. And in their review they were nice but also mentioned that I wasn’t at the house much so I am explaining it so everyone understands why they had said that, the dogs were let out 3/4 times a day and feed as often as they should have been pet owners request. I just don’t want people to get the wrong idea if they read that review!!❣️ But from now on I will correct it every time when it comes to the charges!
