“Dog Dad” - my dogs rescued me!
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, birds, rabbits, and have now been a proud dog dad to two wonderful pups for the last four years! (One is a rescue lab/beagle mix, and the other an energetic cattle dog) During multiple summers I have house-sat for a family while they were on vacation, which included walking, feeding, etc their four dogs.

Riley did a great job with our pups while we were gone for a few days. They looked happy when we got home and he kept us up to date with pictures of the dogs and how they were doing. We will definitely be hiring him again!
Riley did a great job being a companion to our Setter who has separation anxiety.
Riley is an amazing caretaker of all animals. He shows enormous responsibility and compassion. He has taken care of rabbits, cats, and dogs, and has prior experience with dog walking and house-sitting. I trust him completely with my fur babies!

A typical day
While I love to walk and play fetch with dogs, etc, it is always incredibly rewarding to give them mental stimulation. I have a lot of puzzle/treat games that are great to help dogs stay mentally stimulated after they are physically tired.

I’m a professor and freelance musician, so I set my own teaching hours and when working in the orchestra my rehearsals/concerts are in the late evening, so I have a great deal of flexibility with my daily routine.
