I’m a recent UVA grad, working as a nanny in Charlottesville! I worked (pre-pandemic) in the nursery at Trinity Presbyterian Church, and babysit all the time. I worked with infants, which is great practice for meeting the needs of a non-verbal friend. I have two dogs of my own back at my parent’s house: a chocolate lab named Chip and a black golden retriever named Archie. I’ve grown up with labs and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Archie is 11, so I’m practiced in caring for old dogs: giving medications, caring for arthritis, and playing cautiously. Chip is 3, so I’m also great with puppies! Puppies and babies are all too similar (needing frequent snacks, potty training, restlessness, etc) and I love caring for both. I’m also trained in animal reiki, and can help animals with anxiety. Mostly, I’m a student who misses her dogs and would love to spend time with yours!
