Pet care experience
I recently moved to Chicago after finishing grad school and I’m looking to meet new dogs, cats, and other furry friends! I have past experience as a private dog walker and house/pet sitter, and have flexible availability both weekdays and weekends house visits. I’d really like the chance to make your pet's day more exciting with some extra attention and entertainment! I grew up in a family that had dogs both large and small, so I have been used to caring for and spending time with dogs from a young age. I’m not lucky enough to have a dog right now but I live with one very pampered cats, and also have experience with rodents, so if you have any smaller animals that need some love I’m happy to check in on them during house visits.

Each animal’s personality is unique and I’d like to know as much about them as possible so I can best provide for their individual needs and preferences. I’m primarily interested in your pets personality, routine, and any special needs they may have. Anything that makes them scared or nervous? How are they around cats/dogs/children/strangers? Any training you’re working on or words they know ? Are they used to going for a walk or being fed at a certain time? Do they have a favorite toy or activity? Any special needs, medications, etc.
A typical day
When your cat stays with me you can expect them to get lots of attention, pampering, playtime, and cuddles. I make an effort to get to know each pet and their individual needs, routines, and preferences to make the stay as enjoyable for them as possible.
