Pet care experience
I have been fostering dogs and small puppies since I was 11, including all the chores and the rewarding feeling when they find their furever home. I have also worked at a horse stable for about 4 years and continue to have a passion for horses. I've been caring for dogs, cats, horses, lizards, hamsters - you name it! - for my entire life, and continue to do so because of my love for our furry friends. I grew up with a veterinarian for a mother, who continues to provide helpful advice for my own pets today. I am an honors student at Winthrop University in Rockhill SC, and am perusing a degree in environmental science. All of our family, friends, and family friends continue to ask me to house and pet sit for them due to my love for their animals and the quality of care they receive when I am looking after them.

Riley took fantastic care of our pups - I’m not sure they even missed us. 😆 She was timely with updates and sent plenty of pup pics (which we loved). It was so evident that our pups were well cared and loved for. We will certainly book Riley again!
Riley did a great job taking care of our two greyhounds. She updated us often with pics of our hounds. We will definitely use her again.
Riley was awesome! The day I left for my trip, my dog had an ear infection, and Riley was totally helpful with giving Obi his medicine while I was gone. Plus, she sent super cute pictures with updates. Definitely would recommend!!

A typical day
A typical day normally starts out with some cuddles, breakfast, and some playtime with your furry family members. With a more energetic or young dog, I am able to take them on long walks around the neighborhood, run around with them in the yard, or throw toys for them to catch. With more senior or special case dogs I am able to gauge their level of ability during playtime and do what is both safe, and enjoyable for them.

Availability
I am currently living in Rock Hill over the summer and during the school year while attending classes at the honors college at Winthrop University. My schedule is pretty flexible, other than the few times I will be out of town on vacation during the summer. During the school year (September-April) I am mainly available for weekend pet sitting (staying the night), and available to walk and check in on pets the entire week. During the summer I am available for full pet sitting anytime of the week. Contact me with any questions and I will answer you as best I can!
