Riley was awesome. I will start with the best. I was so impressed when I received a text from Riley during our trip asking if I had any dog shampoo, he wanted to give Kua a bath since the weather was mild. Bathing a115 pound Alaskan Malamute is no easy task, especially Kua who is not fond of baths. For this reason alone I was impressed Riley was even considering such a task voluntarily. I did not have any shampoo and told him although it was not necessary I would be happy to pay for shampoo or he could take her to Rub a Dub (local indoor dog wash shop) up the street. Long story short, when we returned from our trip Kua smelled like a rose. I was so impressed with Riley's unsolicited initiative to bath Kua. This story trepresents Riley's overall character: responsible, kind, considerate. Regarding our rover interaction, Riley responded quickly to my request and came to the house for a meet and great. At the meet and greet we quickly connected and he seemed very comfortable with Kua, our very large friend Alaskan Malamute. Riley was able to ask questions and I was able to share with him the details of Kua and the house. After our meeting I felt very comfortable that Kua would be well taken care of while we were gone. From there I e-mailed Riley our contact info and local contacts if he needed anything while gone. During our trip Riley would touch base with pics and updates.

I have known Riley for the past 17 years of my life. In my time knowing Riley, he has always been a loving dog owner. He has raised his Golden Retriever (Tilly) from a new puppy to an old and love able dog. Riley has always made sure that Tilly was well exercised, cared after at all times, and treated with lots of attention and love. I have seen first hand the wonderful relationship he was able to build with his dog and because of that, it allowed me to have one with his pup as well. I recently got an English Cream Golden Retriever (Nala) for myself a few years ago and Riley is my go-to person for taking care of her when I am out of town. She loves going over to his place and whenever he comes and visits. In terms of someone that you can 100% trust to be responsible about taking care of your dog, showing them the love and attention they need, interacting, playing, maintaining, training, and caring about your dog as much as you would, Riley is the guy. I would HIGHLY recommend Riley to be a dog caregiver with his vast experience and love for dogs, you won't find anyone better.
