Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Riley and I’m so excited to hear more about your furry family members! I’m originally from Des Moines, Iowa and just moved to my new home in Urbandale after 3 years of living in New York City. I have 2 Morkies at my parents home that are 11 years old who I love very much. I have experience with dogs who have special dietary/medical needs as one of my dogs is diabetic and blind and requires special care such as injections, specific feeding instructions, extra help navigating, etc. I do very well watching after small puppies, big babies, old friends, and everything in between! Some personal background information about me, I was previously a full-time dancer in New York and now teach classes at my home studio on occasion. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and can work around just about anyone’s needs. I hope we can work together in the future and I look forward to meeting your precious pets!

Riley was really a great caretaker and companion to our new rescue pup, Zorro. She clearly knows her way around lots of different types of dogs and Zorro took to her immediately. She also got him to eat his square meals (which can be hard for us) and even took him to the dog park! Not to mention, we got regular updates and pics (and even a video) of him too. She is also great to communicate with and very organized, reliable and responsive. 10/10 recommend!
Riley was absolutely amazing with Fenway! She stayed on top of her food/medication schedule and even skillfully delivered her subcutaneous fluids every day! Riley sent us videos of Fenway playing and assured us that everything was going well while we were away. We really like and absolutely trust her to watch Fenway whenever we go out of town. Very, very happy with her services!!
My dog Huck is shy with new people and Riley won him over. He's a happy camper with her. Highly recommend!

A typical day
I love taking dogs that stay with me out on walks to explore! Because I lived in New York City before, I did tons of walking regularly on my own as well as with dogs. I always go at your dog's pace and take as little or as much time as we need. If you'd like, I don’t mind giving your dog a bath for a small extra charge too!
