Pet care experience
Hi there! For the past two years I worked full time in a dog shelter in San Francisco and love spending my days around dogs. Each day in the shelter I worked with differently abled dogs, dogs with behavioral issues, and high energy/active minded dogs and love all of them. I have 10+ years of dog sitting experience and it's always felt like more of a hobby than a job. I've raised one rescue of my own since she was a puppy, she's now 12 years old. I have my pet CPR certification and have tons of experience with administering medicine orally, topically, and subcutaneously. I am a big proponent of positive reinforcement and always approach dogs with the upmost respect and gentleness. I do not believe in forcing an animal to do something they are not motivated to do, and usually I can motivate them with some yummy treats and patience! I understand how to interact and approach dogs with unique personalities :) aka dogs with anxiety or fear-based aggression. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person who is to take care of your home and pet. I would love to do a meet and greet session so I can meet both you and your pet to make sure everyone is comfortable. I am an easy going, friendly, patient and trustworthy person. Rilee is the best! I needed a sitter at the last minute for 1 full day to take care of my older dogs and a puppy. Rilee arrived early in the morning, when I needed her and stayed into the evening for me. It was a long day but she played, brushed and fed the dogs. They were exhausted when we got home. She locked up the house and left it very neat. I'd love to have her back the next time we need a sitter, my dogs loved her.
Rilee was absolutely the best! At our first meeting it was clear that she was super prompt, responsible, an excellent communicator and very sharp. She immediately got along with our dogs and understood their eccentricities. When we returned from our trip the dogs were super happy, and house was as clean as we left it. On top of that she is cool person :) Highly recommended!
Holy cow, Rilee is amazing! I am a ridiculously nervous pet owner with a new(ish) pup and precocious cat, and hadn't managed to find a pet-sitting option that made everyone feel comfortable. But Rilee immediately instilled confidence in both her enthusiasm and experience, and my partner and I were able to head off for a long international trip -- including a few days with zero cell phone access -- without worry. When we were able to check in, everyone was obviously well taken care of and having a blast... from 4-hour hikes to trips to Fort Funston to (unfortunately for pup) a much-needed bath after a romp in the mud. Thanks again for taking care of our little menagerie! Planning our next excursion will definitely be easier knowing we have Rilee around!
Rilee is THE perfect person to hire for your dog care needs. She is extremely reliable, always on time, friendly, and goes above and beyond for your dogs needs. I do not trust many people with my dog, who can be a handful, but I would not hesitate to hire Rilee. She knows so much about dog welfare,care, behavior, and health, you are actually getting a lot more than you are paying for. Want a tired & happy dog? Want to be able to enjoy your trip without worrying if your dog is ok? Then call Rilee. Seriously, she is the best. I hired her to care for some of the most medically and behaviorally challenged dogs. She is my top recommendation for dog care (and she does cats as well ;)

I LOVE hiking and exploring the many walking trails in the city. Your pooch will definitely get tons of fresh air with me! If your pooch is more of a couch potato, I am happy to catch up on Game of Thrones with him/her. :)
