Pet care experience
I've had dogs all my life growing up till my previous best friend passed away a few years ago. Now as my wife and I contemplate getting our first pet as a married couple we want to start out by making some new furry friends! I've taken care of various dogs from large to small and truely feel they are God's gift to humanity.

I cannot ask for better care for my furry friend. We had an assessment meeting and I can tell my dog is comfortable with Rikhi from the onstart. Rikhil and Shachi took my dog for many trips and walks at different beaches. They update me with lots of pics during the 2.5wks of boarding. Now I can plan more trips knowing I can leave my baby in good hands. Thank you so much Rikhil & Shachi.
Rikhil was great with our 1-year old springer spaniel. Winston came back relaxed and happy from his day care sitting!
Rikhil and Shachi took excellent care of Gimli while I was away, responded quickly and gave updates and photos. They took Gimli on plenty of walks and even a trip out to Squamish. Gimli was so happy with them and almost didn't want to leave, would definitely book again :)
Such a great experience. Excellent communication, daily updates, and my dog came back looking calm, relaxed and full of joy. I’d leave my dog with them again in a heartbeat!

We believe a dog is like a little child that needs love nurturing and care. We live in an apartment building in downtown and have plenty of dog parks, open areas and the sea wall blocks away from our house for your dog to go on plenty of outdoor walks and runs. Inside the house, we have a cozy apartment that's cute and compact making sure your dog is never alone. We have plenty of dog loving friends and dog parents, so no matter where we go, your baby will always have company

I would love to know if your dog has specifics patterns that they're used to, specifics about the type of food, snacks, what they like to do for activity. How are they with strangers, how are they with other dogs. Any known behaviours, fears, stimulants, triggers that we need to be aware of.
A typical day
My partner and I love going for walks and we live in an area surrounded with parks and open spaces. We also have a car of our own so would love to take pets that are active into the hiking trails etc. At home, we enjoy cuddles and snuggles, and playing games like tug with dogs that enjoy it.

I'm currently working from home and have a completely flexible schedule. This is the main reason why we've decided to join rover now as we will have plenty of time to take care of your pupper!
