Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover and I would love to help others care for their furry family members! Growing up I used to volunteer for my local animal shelter and take the dogs on walks, feed them and clean their cages and spend lots of time playing with them! I also have experience caring for small to medium sized dogs through my family, including chihuahuas, dachshunds, collies and labs. My husband and I currently own two cats, Dale and Winston, so I have plenty of experience caring for felines as well.

Rika is an excellent caregiver when it comes to watching dogs. She's attentive, easy going, and most importantly truly cares for each and every dog she comes into contact with. My dog Ziggy is the biggest fan of her and most days would not leave her side whenever she would drop by for a visit. She would give him constant attention and treats (which he absolutely loved). She's great with dogs of all shapes and sizes and is a great choice if you're in need of a dog sitter or walker.
Rika is wonderful! She obviously loves dogs of all sizes, but was especially caring with our active pit. Rika is a trusting and responsible individual and I would recommend her to anyone!
Rika consistently showed competent care and affection for the dogs we came across in college. She balances responsible pet guardianship with a fun and engaging attitude that pets will enjoy be it in the form of dog walking or pet sitting.

Feed schedule and type, walk schedule and litter scooping schedule (for cats) as well as where to find supplies in the home are all good to know. Also any medications that need to be provided and any social issues/anxieties that the pet may have would obviously be very important to know.
A typical day
I know how important it is to socialize with both cats and dogs that are amenable to it while their owners are away. I love taking dogs on walks in the local area and playing with cats using their toy of choice.
