Pet care experience
My first priority with pets is to establish a relationship with the parents and pet, the pet will be happier and more able to enjoy our visits when see their parents giving permission and this establishes trust. Trust is the most important element in this industry, dogs are very perceptive to any "off" vibes. My goal is for every one of my clients is to relax and enjoy their time, and for the parents to be assured their pet is being well cared for and above all else safe!

Disappointed that “house sitter” arrived 30 minutes late; after we left, put our dog in her car and took home to town without asking our permission; and, left the house unlocked while she was gone. Unprofessional behavior.

The furry children had a fantastic time with Rie
What can I say about Rie? She goes above and beyond to make our dogs Toby and Moose feel special and loved and cared for. I knew that I would be able to trust Rie with our boys because moose the skittish one ran right up to her and basically in dog-speak said "mom! I like her!" Rie has walked our dogs, and had them stay on overnight weeks and weekends with her on multiple occasions over the years. Every time I say "Rie" the boys get so excited! Rie and her little buddy rudy truly have a special gift and way with animals. Rie makes them feel at home and take extra good care of them with tons of fun activities like hiking and dog park or whatever you prefer! Whenever they get dropped off with her they are truly stoked instead of being sad I am leaving. They come home happy and you know she is good when They want to say bye to her even though mom and dad are back. Rie herself is a kind-hearted spirit who has always shown us her above-and-beyond service was the right way to go! Thanks Rie and the little Rudy man!

I insist on meeting the parents and pet in the home environment, and see them relaxed, while the parents can instruct me on their habits and preferences, I don't have any restrictions on breed - just size -over 100lbs.
A typical day
"tag" or ball whichever the pet prefers, I like to take them to new locales so they get to experience more "smells" and know their environment better. Some dogs may prefer to sit and "sun' themselves and we can do that too!
