Pet care experience
Conshy resident ready to love your pets! I seek to treat your animal like family. I have been pet and housesitting since I was a kid. I am a pastor with Fridays off so I find petsitting works perfect for my weekend schedule! I am happy to provide walking service for your pet in evenings, mornings and late afternoon. I’m very flexible and open to helping you out. My apartment is set up so that my cat is able to be separated from your dog during his/her stay for doggy day care. Please message me and we will work out details— I am willing to talk further about what kinds of needs you have for your pets!
Reviews
I couldn’t have asked for a better first-time Rover experience! Ridgley was communicative, flexible, professional, and incredibly caring for my Pancho. I will absolutely be calling on Ridgley again for peace-of-mind dog care while I am away from my guy.
Ridgley gave us the peace of mind to enjoy our time away. :)
Ridgley was wonderful and our cat Layla loved her! She visited daily and sent updates! Super smooth and reliable! Can't wait to work with her again!
Ridgley was a great sitter! We could tell our cat was in good hands while we were away. She was super attentive and professional!

I live on the fourth floor apartment and I own a cat. The apartment has a big field next to it and there are plenty of walking trails around me. I like to provide doggy daycare rather than boarding because I feel like this is not a great long-term option for pet care. When your dog does come for a doggy daycare I stay in my apartment the whole time and give your pet a luxury experience (lots of belly rubs, attention, cuddles). I have found that housesitting and drop-ins are best for me because the animals are less stressed/anxious. I think it is important to keep their environment consistent since the owners they love will be gone so I try to remain as flexible as possible for you. I understand though that owners might need doggy day care regardless, so I am happy to accommodate!

Information Ridgley J. would like to know about your pet
See Above! I like to know what scares them, what you all have worked to train or overcome with them, information about their eating habits/digestion, what they love most, how to win them over (haha) and other important items. I once cared for a blind diabetic geriatric dog and it was very important for the owner to share what the warning signs were vs regular quirks. An owner should never feel like they are providing “too much” information—I love a good pet care short story from the owners! This helps me care for your pets without bothering you about those things.
A typical day
Meet ups are very important to me prior to booking so I can see your pet in their home. I ask questions about their demeanor, routines, walks quirks, favorites, etc so that I can provide as similar of an experience for your pet as if you were home. Some dogs hate long walks, some dogs love them! Some cats love to play and some cats want you to just snuggle them! One thing my clients love about me is that I set a check in time each day when housesitting to provide all info of the day with pics. This is helpful so the owners know when to hear from me in a way that doesn’t interrupt their time away. I do have some clients who prefer constant communication and I am happy to do that as well!

Availability
I work from 9 to 430 during the day, with a flexible lunch hour. This enables me to take your pup on mid day or early evening walks. My work schedule is flexible so I am able to be accommodating if need be. I find that housesitting works great for me because I can work remotely in the afternoons from your home and many clients like this because it means that their animals have company during the day as well. I have Fridays off and work Sunday mornings, so I am able to provide a full weekend caring for your pets!
