I've been a pet care giver for 30 plus years... Have trained dogs and have a great way of working with them. I can help potty train and help with obedience skills if you would like . I've trained German Shepard's n the Air Force where I was a dog handler in law enforcement. I've personally owned several different breeds of dogs and can earn their trust and respect quickly . First thank you to Ricky for giving our Rosie a home away from home while we were away on our trip. He communicated daily with pictures and daily recaps. It was very refreshing to have someone care for our Rosie as much as we do. Thank you so much and look forward to having Rosie visit back with you soon.
Excellent care and it was obvious that Birdie had a blast. Ricky was very flexible in drop off & pick up times, even after I’d accidentally entered the wrong dates, lol… Great communication & cute photos sent to me throughout her stay, which set my mind at ease. The only reason for a 4 star review is that I specifically asked that she not be off the run/leash during her stay because she likes to run the perimeter… and he has no fence at the house where he cares for the dogs. My dog LOVES to run and she’s like lightning… If she decided to chase a rabbit she could be in the next country before we tracked her down, because Ricky can’t run after her or drive. I hate not to be able to give 5+ stars but that was a really big deal for me. Still, I would recommend him & would likely use him again 😉
This is the first time we have ever dropped our 1 yr old Heeler ( Luna ) at a sitter. We saw that “Uncle Ricky” was highly recommended and chose him. GREAT choice! We did a Meet & Greet a couple of days before leaving Luna and Luna took to him like they have known each other for years. When we left her there for an overnight Uncle Ricky was great about keeping us updated on her. Apparently she had such a good time with him that when my wife went to pick Luna up, Luna acted like she wanted to stay with there, lol. We will definitely be bringing Luna back to hang out with Uncle Ricky. Highly recommended him for your “fur babies”. He cares and loves them as if they were his own.
