Pet care experience
I have experience with a variety of dog breeds, having been fur mom to a Giant Bernese Mountain Dog, a German Sheppard Mix and most recently a Pointeraner. I’m very active and exercise daily, more is always welcome so if you have an active pup and a walk really needs to be more of a run, I’m game for that! I’ve spent many years caring for animals and have given shots as well as oral medications without ever having an issue. Safety and health are the first priority here. I don’t believe is leaving animals caged unless it’s for their safety or own feelings of security. I live on a farm and I love to be outside in nature, you can expect your pup to get a lot of outdoor fun with fetch and other games. Teaching dogs new tricks is something that I love! It’s been a few years since caring for any cats due to my husband’s allergies so we can’t take them into our home. However I love kitties and would be happy to visit and care for them at their home.

Rickie was terrific with my four cats! Pictures, updates, she even went back to my house when it was really windy, to check the front door. I’m usually worried about the cats but with Rickie I actually was able to relax. She’s great?
Rickie was so sweet on our meet and greet and then amazing with our 3 dogs during our long day away from home. Kept them outside and played on this beautiful day during her visits. Thanks for taking care of our fur babies! ?
Rickie did a great job with our 3 dogs on her visits. She gave us updates and photos and kept us informed on what was happening. I would highly recommend her!
Rickie is the best! Always on time and my dog loves going on runs with her! She even got him a new toy, which he loves! Great flexibility that fits my crazy work schedule. Perfect.

A typical day
On walks we’ll stroll the neighborhood or field depending on where the pup resides. When staying with me on the farm we are on 6 open acres of land with a creek that runs through our property, you can expect that you animal will have a lot of play time outside with me and my son’s who both absolutely adore dogs. Our house is spacious and has a large wrap around porch so if the weather isn’t great we still get out and play regardless.
