I love dogs of all sizes!
Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for over 40 years. During that time, I have had several breeds, but most recently had an English Bulldog that lived to almost 13 years after surviving cancer and a variety of health issues related to the breed. I also cared for two strong-willed Rottweilers that were loyal and loving from pups to old-age. Communication is very important to me, and an open and honest dialogue about your dogs is key to our relationship. They are family after all! I work from home, and can be available most days from morning till you get home from work in the early evening. My wife may join on a walk around the neighborhood, as she is a dog-lover as well, and cared for and maintained the health and happiness of our own dogs.
Reviews
Rick is a compassionate and responsible dog lover who has cared for dogs of all types, sizes, ages and temperaments. He cared for our aging dog and is great with those that need a little extra TLC. Our dog had cancer and other health problems so he is familiar with administering medications.

Information Rick S. would like to know about your pet
I have owned and cared for what some people consider difficult breeds that require special attention and handling. My English Bulldog had a variety of health issues that are associated with the breed including cancer, cherry eye, and ear infections which always needed daily attention. My two Rottweilers were loving, but were large and strong, which required firm training and respect. Before caring for your dog, I would like to know their quirks and personalties, and what type of special care or handling they would need for a successful sit or walk.
A typical day
We will walk through the neighborhood, and explore different paths each time. If a park is nearby, then a stroll or time in a dog run would definitely be included.
